A blog gone sour.

I'm lying on my bed in camp thinking what a crappy day it's been for me, and then out pops the birthday gift i got from Francine last year. The Blue Day book, it says on the cover, sprawled in hues of blue on the face of a bored-looking frog. The book itself is deceptively small, considering how i never saw it or felt it in the back of my backpack while preparing for another week at ocs. Having failed my SAW technical handling test(blasphemy! I always do well when it comes to handling my guns!), the tominater was ready to call it a day, wallowing in the unearthly depths of self-pity. This book came at the perfect moment, because reading it evoked emotions in me that had been dormant for a terribly long time(like lasciviousness). Actually the feeling was closer to that of my chance meeting with the border's girl - pleasant. Its difficult to describe in detail over my phone, but in a nutshell, i was reminded of that energizing and invigorating feeling i often got when i did those crazy, whacked things with flanscene whenever we hit the streets. The emotional cocktail is short lived, but nice while it lasts, and the memories certainly don't disappear anyway. I feel like i can take on the world, and maybe, just maybe, when i go for the retest tmr, i may once again show off just how bloody brilliant i am at wielding my gun. Just for today at least, i'm feeling remarkable.

Hello. This is my first post via cell. Since i've hardly had the opportunity to blog in camp, i've been forced to adopt such methods of making my message known to the masses! I regret that such posts will not have any photos though, as i'm not sure how reliable and efficient this email program is.
